Check out the vid I made of me racing a '94 Ford Taurus SHO. The first two we had pretty even starts. The runs were from about 55 to 100. The third run, he had a jump on me and I was catching up to him until I missed fifth gear. The fourth run we had to stop because of a car in front of us. Thanks, it's mostly due to the 2.3 HO manifold swap with a K&N filter. It makes it sound damn mean. I have yet to put on the RK header, so we'll see how it sounds then.

The one clip where he beat me was because he had a jump on me from the start. You can see it in the video. Plus, I was cathcing up to him and would have caught him if I wouldn't have missed 5th gear. I beat him in the first two clips with an even start. As far as his car goes, its completely stock except for a MAF. You must now know what a SHO is. They are flippin fast, especially top end. I felt fortunate to be able to beat him. Anyway, there will be more vids soon. Once I get the secret cams installed along with the header and full exhaust, we'll do it again.

a sho is not fast. But nice kill for 4cylinder vs the 6 that was a good race. I remember when my cav's gears felt that long. boost makes things go by hell of alot quicker. And yes your car sounds very nice cant wait for more vids.

Actually, SHO's are damn fast. That one wasn't particularily fast b/c it had the 3.0 with an auto tranny. My other roomate has a '95 SHO with the 3.2 swap with manual tranny and short shifter. He's running low 14's and hopes to hit 13's this summer with a few more mods. That's pretty damn fast for a V6 in a car of that size. And thanks to the NVG swap, the high end gearing is a lot better in my car. That was the first time I raced anyone since I swapped the tranny. I raced him b4 the swap, and he had me by almost a car every time.

LOL, that's funny. Yeah, we were going south on 51towards Stevens Point. I only live like 5 mins from where we were racing. I never imagined that anyone would have recognized where we were :-) It's almost scary....

Well, I was going through my other videos and thought I'd post my tray sliding video. It's hard to see b/c it was taken at night, but you get the idea. I'm going to try and do it again during the day and get some better footage. You get so many G's while in the car, it's amazing. I couldn't even move out of my seat. Anyway, on with the vid....

They are actually the plastic trays that 2 liter bottles of pop come in, like at grocery stores. I set them up against a cement curb, and backed up on them and pulled the e-brake so the back tires stay on them. Then just hammer on it. Once you get going a certain speed, you can't control going straight anymore, you just whip around. It sets you back so far in your seat you think the car is going to flip over. I have to post the video my buddy made who was ridin with me inside the car. That vid was even better.
Calco, thanks for the comments. I will definately post more vids once my mods are done. I'll prolly post a few more before then of just racin around or something. Gotta do something to make the day pass and wait for spring to come:-)
