Well since last year the car has gone through a lot of changes. First of all let me say I do a lot of surfing through the classifeids. Almost everything you see on my car has been purchased from here.
My kit was a smoothe transaction and lets see if anyone knows whos it is. I also now know what the type J wave is, lol.
My engine is a story to tell however. I saw an add on the JBO classifieds which was unclear and did not seem promiseing. Said built motor, tranny, clutch header and other parts. It also listed in the engine description it had an eagle crank, I did not thing eagle made anything in the crank department so I thought it was a rip. Anyways I emailed him (Eric Beckens) and got him down to 1,000 for the engine tranny, header, clutch, I figured if it was a fluke I would see it in person and confirm it. Since I am in NY and he was in NC it was convenient because my Dad happened to be driv ing down on business so he stoped to pick it up. Sure enough Eric had the pan off to show my Dad the rods so my dad called me to confirm and I said go with it. Also included was a centerforce clutch and pressure plate, 2.4 5 speed tranny 51K on it, Pacesetter header (Brand new), 2.3 LO intake and TB, 2.4 ac delete pulley, 2.3 HO master cylender, starter, alternator, PS pump. Basically the guy kept giving stuff to me at no cost, said he was turning his 97 Z24 into RWD. All in all great guy very nice however the info was a little off. I was not likeing putting someone elses engine in so I tore it down, sure enough eagle H beams and JE pistons just like he said, engine had never been fired and is now running awesome.
The bad from classifieds, I tried to buy a kit from Eric Rhamings and he never sent it or replied to emails after payment. Luckily I used paypal and will hopefully getting my money back through them.
Sorry for the rambling thats whats going on with my car, the pics are really dirty and I havent washed it in about two weeks. But it is built and boosted awaiting for the HP tuners software to arrive. If anyone needs a SPEC clutch stage one and pressure plate email me, also have the 2.3 LO (Not the normal one I think it is the quad) if anyone wants it. Check the classifieds and make sure you all use caution!

Where did you grab them at? They're the perfect color combo I was talking about would go in the Tan interior!

why is the steering wheel upside down? looks freaking great
looks good, any better pics of the wave? howd you get your front to sit so high up to the headlights? mine has like a quarter inch sag under each light. did you remove the crush guard completly or trip it? lookin good though get that bish painted and lets see more pics.

seats look like they are from z2flip4 if so i was about to pick them up but cash was low so could only pick up engine/tranny

Mark is parting his car, your type J is black, and you are from NY thats kinda easy to figure out lol...those seats are damn sexy, everything looks good, my personaly taste i dont like while wheels, but thats just me,... i say get that whole thing one color and call it a day

Thanks guys, yea its Marks old kit. I should have it painted within two weeks. I want bigger wheels but its hard for me to part with these. Also on the kit, yea I love my SS kit, just couldnt take the FG.

I really like those seat, do you have any more pics of them and how well they go with the interior? also, how hard was it to install them after taking out the factories?
did you have to modify your exhaust any when putting on the type j rear?

The seats are Tenzo R Ralleys, I have had them for a couple years and some people have said they fade but I have a vert and havent had the problem. They look great annd match the interior perfectly not to mention comfy. I paid 439$ shipped on ebay a long time ago. I used my stock sliders and just made an adapter plate, it was easy.
Mark is parting out his car because he doesnt want to mod any more, just wants to try other hobbies.
