I got an RK Sport replacement bumper off an amazing JBO seller (Jordan Williams, for reference). I've always wanted this thing and $200 shipped worked for me. I also recently went on a field trip to a junk yard and picked up myself a nice set of GT side skirts for $30 and a charcoal headliner for $15. The skirts are red, just like my car, so they'll be going on sometime soon.
I wanted to get the rear bumper and exhaust system as well, but we didn't have a reciprocating saw and the bumper had a crack in it.
Hopefully I'll come across another one soon. The yard had quite a few Js, and I was able to nab some little interior pieces for myself.
The sunfire I got the skirts off of was pretty amazing. I didn't realize GM had a special interior for some GTs (the red seats and accents) and the headliner was AWESOME, but the car was rolled so the roof was caved in.
Anyways, here are my toys.
^I cleaned them up after the picture and everything came off. They look hardly used.
and the lucky girl that gets it put on her.
(Yes, she needs to be lowered. If you would kindly send me $600 to do so, that'd be awesome. Also, the stars are no longer on her.)

Looking really good. I feel your pain about the whole lowered part. Except I drive a 4 door
lol

Mmmm peeeeerty. Give me the charcoal headliner. NOW. Oh and where the hell is my mirror you were supposed to find me? Huh? Huh? Glad to see Homer is getting some love though.

Car is for Sale!Supercharger kit is for sale!
Copher LKQ...which sounds like the one you go to. U Wrench It is the sign name, $2 admission.
hey im glad you like the bumper. it was good doin bussiness with you. make sure you send me some pics of it when it is on!
if you didnt spend your money on body parts, you could lower it
STYLEZ24 wrote:if you didnt spend your money on body parts, you could lower it
good point
maybe u should sell that gm strut bar to save up for lowering it
STYLEZ24 wrote:if you didnt spend your money on body parts, you could lower it
Not really... she would have only been halfway to lowering it.
All of those parts cost her less than $275. Short of eBay coilovers, you are not going to find a full suspension replacement for that price.
there is a place out by me with 2 gts both red with rears and exhaust in good condition.
who said that she had to get e-bay coilovers, i kno in canada there were quite a few ppl selling eibach sportline springs for 200 CDN but those were all snaged up already. there's gotta be someone who's sellin used springs
That's nice. She still needs struts to properly lower the car.
I've always wanted that front bumper too
went for a 2000+GT front instead (flows more air for the FMIC)
nice lineup there, cant wait to see it finished!
Thanks for the comments, guys.
As for negative Nancy, I've learned with used parts to not pass up a good deal when I see it. $30 for complete skirts, $200 SHIPPED for that bumper (it's almost $400 without shipping at gravana)...These are things I want more. Also, I plan on getting bodywork done to the car before I lower it because I really don't care about being a '4x4'. I just wanted to avoid the comments about it because that's most always the first thing out of peoples mouths.
Meancav01: I have no idea where you are. If you're within an hour of Tampa, however, you must tell me where.
Dirty: You want the strut bar? PM me. I have no use for it.
i did a group buy for SSC springs for 180 taxes in brand new, i can still get them for 230ish cdn taxes in
i am sure you can find a decent set of springs at a comparable price
by the way the car will look pretty good once you get all that on
Thanks, Carey. I don't want to buy springs without buying the struts and such as well because if I do it, I want it done right.
