So about 4:30am my building manager pounded on my door that there was a fire in the parking since someone had torched a dumpster, the Victoria Fire Dept quickly washed down the car but it was still covered in hot embers....







The paint could be far worse, I've pressure washed most of the ash off, taking a big chunk of clearcoat off the rear bumper (which had been repainted prior to me owning the car, and a crappy job done then), some deep pitting on the side of the car that I'd never noticed before... and some weird things on the hood/rear bumper that look like someone painted over some sand/dust.... so now I need to talk to the Victoria Fire Dept again, get a report, and deal with ICBC... not sure whats gonna happen but looks like new paint has been moved to the top of my todo list... whether ICBC or I am paying.

mine had about half inch of abmers covering it last year when 8 houses down the street from my house burnt right to the grand.... 8 houses!!!!!!!.... middle of november...i was standing on my deck in shorts and tshirt and sweating... sooo hot

Just to note, thats ash on the car... the paint isnt that bad but definetly noticable up close. Theres only a few really bad spots.

that is fuqed up man hope you get someone to pay for that, you shouldnt have to.
