can you elaborate for me? I'm not sure whats going on. Are just the pins holding the hood down now. Sorry, I'm a nub.
he's got the JDM skyjacker lift onthe backside of the hood with some new hoodpins
I'm a bit mixed on it, but I guess I like it owen
cooling ftw
I have never seen that before. I feel out of the loop, either that or a) Im not JDM enough or b) I dont drive a POS Honda.
Honda's arent POSes
Basically the theory is it lets cool air in, hot air out, or gives you some more hood clearance... and since my new cai will quite high up,

I thought someone hit you and bent your hinges...
it looks pretty good, would look better if the back of the hood was a lil lower then what it is. but i like the idea function > form FTW!
it looks like the aftermath of an accident. i dont like it at all.
might as well drive around with no hood on at all, thats what the cool kids do
how did you make your hood like that? when i boost i want to have my hood like that just for fun

I don't think I could stand to have my hood look like it's constantly in the middle of getting repaired. Helpful folk in my area would probably flag me down four times a day to let me know my hood isn't down.

i understand the concept but personal would not do it. i'd rather buy another hood with a scoop, make one, or take the hood off
just my $0.02

I think scoops are ugly personally
and if this results in gains, I'll use it... if it doesnt, back to the current cai and stock height hood... I'm pretty sure I'll see some serious gains though.

^^^^ You don't like a hood scoop but you'll drive around with a hood that looks like its coming off? To each his own man. As long as it suits your purpose, go for it.

thanks skwirl. I've never heard of that, but it definitly makes sense. Owen, way to do something different. I think its cool when people apply tricks from other cars. Hopefully you'll get some worthwhile gains out of it. Did you remove the hinge assembly in the front?
