well tonight i just did a few street runs.
My 0-50 fastest i got timing myself was a 6.28 i also got a few 6.49-6.37
my fastest 0-60 was a 7.00 flat also got a 7.09-7.29-7.57
I also swapped to 20w50 I am getting about 25-32 psi at idle and 42-50 on wot. I think the only reason I was getting lower oil pressure is from the oil feed passage running to the main oil galley is drilled to 41/64" which is much larger than most peoples 7/16" oil passage. Also with the bigger passage we are getting more volume flowing just less pressure.
20w50 will only be used during the summer and 10w30 will most likely be used during its lil movement during winter.
DYNO Wednesday o yeah.
hoping to put down 200 or 200+ hp but we'll see.
Hit the 1000mile mark today with 0 problems.
thats awesome...glad to hear all's going good and cant wait to see the dyno numbers.
It will be interesting to see what my pressure comes out to. I drilled my 2.3 swap conecting whole to 7/16.

You may be right but karo put down i forget but i think it was 239hp N/A with close the the same build differance would be he had ho cams i have jbp stage 2 differant headers he had custom i have stan's and compression i have 10.5:1 karo has 10.1.
I agree with QBE. I can only see around 180whp. Hopefully I am wrong though. With as much time and money as you have put into it I hope you do break 200 or are at least happy with the results. By the way did you use the stock 2.4 head? I know you have different cams, valves, springs, ect.
I think it will be interesting to see how much you pick up from the tuning with hp tuners. I would not be surprised to see a 5-10whp difference.

I can totally see 200 with a good tune. Brian (speedracerz) put down close to 180 with his low compression 9:1 build using the 95 intake cam and H) exaust.. Good luck, I hope everything goes well can you can finally rip on it when it's all tunned.
I could see gaining more than 5-10 hp right now it running very odd. right now iam getting codes from egr cam pos ac pump and 02.
So i could see gaining more than 5-10hp
idk much about the whole computing aspect.. but im thinking shes into limp mode right now with all that stuff not hooked up etc. but then again i dont even know if that stuff even effects that part of it. i always assumed limp mode had to do with the knock sensor more than anything.
also, lets not forget his car for some weird reason did NOT come with a 2nd 02 sensor.
Pretty sure Brian's running a 9.5:1 build with a .040 bore. Big difference. But anyway, 200whp should not be a hard goal in my eyes.
As far as those codes go, none of them should be putting it into limp mode/affecting how it runs. UNLESS of course it is the bank 1 o2 sensor, which is the primary. That would put the car into limp. The no signal cps will cause the injectors to fire in batch rather than the normal sequential firing pattern. But again, that shouldn't affect anyhting other than maybe a minor decrease in your mileage. EGR and a/c are irrelevant.
Blew it up, build numbers coming soon
Sorry, i couldn't quite remember his build and was to lazy to check. Even still, with a full point up on compression and a more agressive intake cam I can totally see 190-200.

Karo made 259whp n/a, 200whp should be easy....

Thats not bad man. I should see what my car will do now that it has correctly working coils on it. Who cares if this is in the wrong forum, I'm too tired to care
When you dyno it, post the numbers.
Hopefully I can get to where your at soon. The times in my sig where taken with a misfiring coil pack and grinding synchros.

That is a weird thing? Come to think of it, most OBDII cars do come with 2 sensors.....
never was on the car no wiring no bung no nothing.
Are you trying to say that your car has only one bung hole?
with a 6.2 0-60 you're making maybe 160hp.
Built, bottled, ready for 11s. 14.446@93.74mph, 1.848 60' N/A.
I'm guessing 168 whp +/- 2
2003 Ecotec Z24
14.88 @ 93.92 mph
lol, maybe i am just a crappy driver? No way possible to guess the hp by my 0-60 times lol.
Yo Paul,
PMs dude.
And you gotta get some good numbers so I know what to do with my stage 2s.

Didn't a lot of Canadian J-bodies come with only one O2? Maybee your car is originally from Canada aeh?
