ok douche if you dont like it dont comment
i thinks its bad ass Imo
its getting there. definately leave the mirrors how u got them now!
2 suggestions: paint the handles 2 match! then u need a lip kit!

gorgeous!!! do the handles keep the white rims and youll be good to go and yes a lip will suffice!
s1lver_N1p stock cavy huh?? did you buy your car with an ecotec in it? oh you did huh yea cause mine HAD a single cam in it. put the ecotec in myself. stock cavy still? noticed its lowered? doesnt come stock lowered! notice after market rims, doesnt come stock with axis rims, notice drilled brembo rotors, doesnt come stock with those. black out head lights and tails, nope not stock, paint on front bumper and painted mirrors, nope not stock on base model. wow you have a great eye for "stock" cavaliers!!! i agree, if ya dont like it then change topics and dont comment!
I like it as is. Though I do agree that maybe the front air dam should be black. So long as ya keep the wheels clean I have no problems with the white rims. Car looks great

looks like youre asking for our opinions.... so when you get some that you dont like or agree with, stop cryin.
please dont tell me you are seriously defending the stock pieces you painted as proof that your car is not stock!!?...

some 02's came with the eco... so i'll give ya another yeppie skippie! so now its just like a thousand other 02 cavs.
20cavy02 wrote: noticed its lowered? doesnt come stock lowered! notice after market rims, doesnt come stock with axis rims
yay, you've lowered it. according to your profile you accomplished this
BY HEATING THE STOCK SPRINGS and slapped on wheels...... yay
20cavy02 wrote: notice drilled brembo rotors, doesnt come stock with those.
from your AWESOME pics, you can hardly tell... just looked like more painted stock pieces to me till you said they were drilled and i had to look and barely saw a couple holes in the rotor
black out head lights and tails, nope not stock, paint on front bumper and painted mirrors, nope not stock on base model. wow you have a great eye for "stock" cavaliers!!!
If we take any car and spray paint some pieces, does that mean its not stock?? no...
its still stock.
so basically, you've painted a few pieces, put rims on, heated the springs , and put in an engine that came STOCK in 02 cavs..... so while its not completely stock, its dam close.
i like the mirrors, painting the handles would clean up the car even more. so i say that should be the next move. but i think the bumper looks
hideous (with the black) and the headlights on top of that dont go with the "WHITE, WHITE" color scheme you have going.
i applaud your engine upgrades, but to me it just seems that you're in a hurry or "spray paint happy"....
Looks good dude, leave them just like that - I don't like when the base of the mirror is painted. The car is screaming for some lips on it, and to remove that white banner on the windshield. Keep at it!

Godspeed: for one who said i was crying. i dont see any tears on my response. was just defending that my car isnt what you guys are calling it as "stock" it didnt come with all of it so it isnt stock. woopdey doo b/c i dont have a supercharger or a turbo kit or internals in my motor means im "stock".... what about clutch and flywheel upgrade. is that stock? lets see your arguement on this response now...
you have a STOCK painted bumper, STOCK painted mirrors, STOCK painted god knows what/how many interior pieces, STOCK headlights and tail lights....SURPRISE: painted!! (even if you did buy them, they still look exactly like the stock assembly's only painted). and a STOCK engine (like it or not, it came stock.... although you did swap it in place of your 2200, so again, an honest
)
If your panties werent already in a bunch Houdini couldnt escape, then you would have seen the part where i applauded your engine upgrades (swap, flywheel, clutch)... but you didnt. perhaps that was when you had to reach for a new tissue.
Dale, lets have a serious man to man here...... i honestly dont give a @!#$ about your car or what youve done/painted. sorry, but I dont.... I'm no longer trying to "modify" my fire anymore and willingly admit that mine is "more stock" than yours. But im happy enough with it for the time being (till i find some sought after pieces) and its stockness. EVEN IF I WAS "MODIFYING" my car, i am a fan of the clean style of mods. Paint what you want to paint, heat up what you want to heat up(
actually skip this part from now on), knock yourself out...i dont care. I'll sleep just as well knowing what you've done as i would not knowing what you're doing. it really makes no difference to me. Im arguing what youre defending as the definition of "STOCK." I simply dont agree, that slapping a stinker on a car no longer makes it a stock car (cuz @!#$, lets be honest..."THAT DIDNT COME ON THERE STOCK!!")
yes, you've done some mods to your car and apparently you did them yourself (and some of them i like/agree with, while some i dont). congrats
. you like what you've done with your car so far, i double congrats you
but when Chris stated that he thought your car appeared to be very stock-like and you FLIPPED OUT! #1. Dale...its the internet. calm down... dont take everything like it came from your own mother #2. It's JBO and you asked for peoples opinions... believe it or not not everyone is going to love your car as much as you do. so prepare yourself to hear people state negative opinions in not the best/most appropriate manner (see JOEY
). this is to be expected and will be best if welcomed with a smile and light heart.
it boils down to a few key things.... 1. its your car. You have to be seen in it and ONLY you have to/should like it.... if you're going to ask for opinions from other people you cant let that get to you. Its YOUR car, not ours 2. see number 1.
