show me the custom bodykits!!
Friday, October 02, 2009 7:10 AM
call me crazy but im atempting to clone (sort of) a sunfire to a lambo murcielago. i got the idea from a google image but the guy did it in paper mache and it ended upp in a junk yard. i'll be using metal on the quarters to make a wide body and fiberglassing the bumpers side skirts and fenders and hood. it wil have lambo doors and a reverse hinge hood as well as a suicide trunk. leave comments, post your own home made kits or ideas as well..

I predict a few things here:

1) this project will never be completed
2) it will look aweful
3) you will get made fun of
4) you will never come back to JBO
5) you will regret dumping the money into a j-body
6) did i mention you will get made fun of?

good luck.

There will be A LOT of work involved. Expect to spend hours and hours and hours (did I mention hours?) a day to do a project like this.
Once completed though, it feels fantastic.

If you're trying to go custom, people posting pics of their cars will only give you ideas of 'copying' someone else's design/style. I say start drawing up your own images down on paper and go from there.

Keep us updated of your progress.

Good luck with the build.

Ahhh, this is going to be a good thread, I can see it

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

Are you kidding?

Wait till you have something better than a stock sunfire and a focus to try to compare to Joey's car.

Joey's car owns your face. And, you would stop and gaze because until you prove us wrong, you can't even come close to doing what he did.

Good luck.. If done right,it could look great. Too many people have come in here with crazy projects have come in here and just disappeared. If you pull it off, amazing; if not, you will be forgotten and noone will care, so really you have nothing to lose. I'm sorry but that two can exhaust looks bad.

LOL. All I will say is this: after that statement, you'd best come out with something spectacular, or you will end up the laughing stock of this site. You just put down one of the highest quality built cars around here, and are pretty much are acting like you're going to out do it. From my experience, people who talk this big never come through.

This is going to get good. People like you are scum. Trash talking like that gets you nowhere. And we can see from your stock Focus with wheels that you do AMAZING custom work. I guess I will be the first to not even wish you luck, after your cocky outburst. Can't wait till that mouth gets the @!#$ kicked out of you and your girl fuked right in front of you. It's a shame I don't live in Indiana so I could do it myself

Until you prove to anyone that you are anything more than some cocky, mouthy dip@!#$, STFU.

BTW, you mean to tell us that from yesterday (your last profile update), to today you went from service tech at a tire place(changing tires and oil btw), to some kind of metal worker at a body shop? Funny. Get dead, quickly please.

this is gonna be another epic thread.

should we just add it to the "classic JBO memories" thread right now?

to the OP, dig a ditch and die in it.

Check out my build thread!
