i just baught a 03' cavalier with the 2.2 ecotec and 5 speed tranny.
it has all the options accept for a sunroof power seat and leather.
is this a good car?

leather? I didn't know the cavalier had a leather option.
my 04 has been good to me so far.

yeah, i got one and it hasn't given me any trouble that wasn't self inflicted.....good car, not too bad to work on, lots of parts for it, you'll enjoy it

Yeah alot of 03+ cavs came with leather, it wasnt an option but dealers were having aftermarket leather interior put into the cavs to help sell them. Cavaliers sale numbers were down so alot of the big dealer went for help into the aftermarket industry. Ive seen cav's with bodykits, hoods, spoilers, and graphics. It's just like how scion and honda offer AEM CAI's into there cars. And by the way Richard, its a good car and welcome to the .org. you'll like you eco, i love my 04.

I've had my '03 for a year, and 40,000 miles and have had no problems at all.

I don't think theres a power seat option from the dealer either. But you'll love the 5 speed eco, I know I do!

I also have a 99' olds alero with the 2.4 quad, and a 84' Toyota supra but i have found this cavi to be of great interest to me.it already has the sport package on it. the wing body extensions, 16" pretty much stock but handles great.i believe in due time it will be making trips to the track.
