Hi, im new and im kind of confused on where to start. I have a 2003 2.2L Ecotech DOHC Cavalier. And i was wondering where i should start to make my car have some go and not be so slow (=
He could start with the gas pedal lol! J/k
you could start were most to with you CAI and exhaust
Bolt-On is the best way to start, it's not hard at all and you get good gain. You can start with a new intake (warm air, cold air, it depend on what you want, it's basically the same....), header, catback, stuff like that. With those things you don't have a lot of fitting, depending on the order that you do it. (I had to cut about 20" of my catback to put a resonator). By the way, if you decide to go for an exhaust, if there's a muffler shop that can do it, it will be a LOT CHEAPER than a catback (We learn from our mistakes
) , but it's up to you. Personnaly, I got my Cold Air Intake first, then my catback, the header and the hi flow cat (both installed at the same time). The choice is yours, hope it help a little bit
.
Look around first on the performance forum and search through old posts. I think i looked around on here for about 3 months before even making a post so do some research thats all i can recomend.

Everyone is different, but I choose to build up the suspension first. Why have a faster engine without a better handling suspension. Unless you plan to just drive fast in a straight line.
