white gauge install HELP
Monday, June 20, 2005 1:49 PM
Hey, I just installed my APC white gauge face today and i had a problem when i started the car up, the needles to tell my speed didn't work and neither did my tach, they just sat there and did nothing when i took it for a drive. I then pulled out the needles a little bit, and now they work but the wiggle really bad! I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to fix this??? Thanks in advance!

I take it you didn't search or read the instructions for the install?

You can't remove the needles on the 2k+ J's, you need a new cluster.

The synchros on the 2000+ clusters are very fragile. They are broken. Live with it or get a new cluster. Don't know what else to tell you.

APC = A PEICA CRAP.

I would never listen to that company ever, they make generic things for every car.

Thanks for the advice everyone, but my dad fixed the problem tonight and now it doesn't shake any more. It turns out the needles weren't all the way down and they were just pretty much sitting there moving around.
