i have a slammed, kitted, boosted 95 neon but recently bought a 96 cavalier z24 from my sister for 600 with no issues except some rear quarter damage and the fact its an automatic so far mods are short ram air intake, 2.5 inch piping, ractive muffler, edelbrock throttle body, aftermarket ecu, (not sure on what brand my neihbor bought it before my sister bought the car, and a couple of other things including h&r springs tinted windows and euro marker lights in the fenders i was wondering if it was a common problems on j bodys for the wipers to stay all the way up when turned off if some one could help me out with this it would be greatfully appreciated

even if they still work. You have to replace the wiper motor. The same thing happened to my friend on his 96 convertable cav. They wouldn;t go to down position untill he replaced the motor.
