Just a quick question on primering my car, I recently had a wrecka nd now i have a red car a purple hood and a primered black bumper. I was just wondering if i was going to primer my car a flat black what i would need to do, i know i need to sand it down to base coat and then what? Help me out if you know, thx
Honestly... you'd be better off just having a shop paint your car all one color again.
PLEASE do not spray bomb your car. I'm an auto body tech/painter... and I've had to work on spray bombed cars before... one in particular took me 5 GRINDER DISCS to JUST GET THE PAINT OFF. GRINDER DISCS!!
ok i sparyed my car myself. it takes alot of work. you need to get all the old paint off. get it down to the primer. use like 180 grit. the i sprayied primer you can seal it. then i wet saned the primer. then sprayied the base coat. and i cleared it it looks pretty good

How much would a conversion from red to black cost? if you know help me out
full conversion, and if not that just to have it primered to a flat black and wait on the paint, thx
