Hey guys, im new to this forum, I used to go on a cobalt forum cus I wanted to get one but I just got a 93 Z24 from my cousin, so I figured I might as well join a cavalier, or at least a J-body forum. This is my first car and im only 16 so I cant even drive it w/out my parents lol (big newbie here). I just thought I wouldd let you all know im here. I also would like to ask on any impressions of the car, how is it driving wise, modding wise etc.

Modding the car - it's a 4 cylinder. You won't get much with just an intake and exhaust. Don't buy crappy things for it either. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.
Driving wise it's up to you, now since you don't have your license, I'm sure your parents won't let you open it up a little. Trust me, there is nothing to open up, it's a Cavalier.

If you want to mod your car, first see what your plans are with it. Do you want to boost? Be N/A? Then weigh out your options.
thanks, i didn't mean to ask specific questions, i just wanted an opinion on is it worth modding, i can look up what mods to do, i was just looking for a general opinion.
An opinion....it's a Cavalier.
A fact...one can definitely make them nice and fast but with $$$$.
Another fact...the money you put into the car to make it fast, you could have put on another car that is faster and of better quality.
Yet another fact...our cars aren't meant to go fast.

1st and formost decide the route you want to take the expression"show or go" is your choice. theres plenty you can do either way you go. keep an eye in the group purchase forum to get good deals. thers alot more modd'n you can do to your cavy then most people outside the org know about. just shop around so you dont have to back track on your projects.
