Ive looked all over the net had problems finding out how to remove the rear panels in a 05 sunfire. The panels that are right next to the back seats. If anyone could help me find some info that would be great.
Thanks alot
Best way is to remove the seat (and the vracket if you want to be 100% sure that you don't scratch them!!! Fold the back seats to 45 degree (approx.) Get the clip next to the panel out first and then slide the seat, do the same thing for the other side!! Find the spots where the clips are located on the ''lower'' portion of the seat and pull it up, you may have the pull it hard the first time!! The panels are just clipped there, so you just pull them, but be careful!! Best explanation I can give... and I suck at explanations...
Thanks alot, going to give it a try wednesday when my wiring kit arrives :-) You say the seats just pull off right? pulling that out would make it so much easier...heh
the quater panels are welded on our cars. you can not simply remove them like the front fenders. i believe there is a 100 and some spot welds on the quater panel.

He's removing the inner plastic trim pieces, not the outer quarter panels

Buy stuff from CarCustoms Ebay! Won't be disappointed!
On passenger side there is a clip where the upper part of the rear seat pivots. Pull the clip out. Slide seat 1" to passenger side, fold to 45* angle, pull up.
Bottom seat: If you were sitting on the seat, right between your legs, just under the front of the seat, there are two clips. Put a screw driver in the slot (if you pull up on the seat you can see the slots). Push in and up on the clip and it will pop out easily. Once the two clips are up you can pull the seat right out.
