its possible but not worth it. youd be better of just buying a manual car.

^^^ essentially, unless you a)cant find one b)absloutely LOVE your car or c) have BOTH cars sitting side by side, they have the same engine, and you know how to turn a wrench more than a few times.

its more than wrench turning. there is cutting and welding involved. plus no one can give you a price since every shop charges different prices

IMO Auto to manual only if you have a 'vert since almost none of the Cavy and Sunfire verts I've seen had a manual tranny (The only one I've seen is John317s to be honest). Course if someone has a manual 'fire 'vert they don't need.......

Jesus. That's a lot of times that was posted. I was wondering how to do that myself. I have heard it's around $5,000. I'm looking into getting a new car though. I have a 2001 Sunfire, but I want either a Honda Civic Si, Dodge Neon SRT-4, or a Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged. I don't know. The Neon and the Cobalt cost about $13,000 depending on where you go and the Civic Si is $21,000. My personal opinion would be just leave it, and boost what you have. Then call it good.
