Ok, My wheels are 205/55-r16, Pontiac Aluminum GT wheels. Theres about 10 give or take little bolts that appear to be hex head but none of our tools fit them, none of the tools at the auto store fit. Is it just for looks or what? There is a small spot to pry them out at but I dont want to go ahead with that idea and have the centercap break in half. On my firebird I didnt have these, nor on the mustang previous. I feel like a total noob asking, but that is what the forum is for!
This is on a 1998 Gt, btw.
Its just for looks, stick a screwdriver in thaat slot and pop them off.
theres a little notch in the wheel, get a decent sized flat screwdriver and pry the whole plastic cap off.
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day
Yep, on my 95 GT sunfire parts car you just take a screwdriver, and they pop right off. will be swapping my 00 GT's for the 15" 95 GT's soon for drag radials
Phew. Lol I tried the other day and it gave too much resistance for me to want to go ahead without some confortmation that's how it worked! XD
Thanks a bunch guys.
