Maybe a stupid quesion but just eyeballin my 2000 cavalier 2.2L ls Sedan, the rear seems to sit higher than the front. Is this right or is it on my stye that they sit the same height? I ask because if they sit different then i was going to go with the Eibach Sportlines to even it out. Also, are struts extremely necessary or can the stock ones last a little while?
Thanks
Stock strut cannot handle lowering springs. The suspension forum has alot of info about lowering in it.
And you can lower it on stock struts but they will advintaly mess up your struts or even more and ya it does set a little higher cause
when your going down the highway you tail end will drop down do to down force and push the car down witch inturns
keeps the car level at highway speeds that way you get better fuel econo.
Suggestion DON'T lower it on stock struts its really rough know from a guy who has done it. no travel!!!!
Spend the money and do what i was told DO IT THE RIGHT WAY.
40k on stock supsension w/ a pro kit drop. no problems what so ever. and the ride is still nice!

Yea thats what i figured, I dont really want to do a huge drop and i figured the stock springs would last a while. I have a friend that did his car with like a 1.2ish drop and his is still good after 30K miles.
i have some sportlines forsale if you want them PM me. $125 takes em
