New kid on the block...
Sunday, September 13, 2009 3:46 PM
Hey,
So i'm Dannielle and i just brought my first car two weeks ago; A Chevy Cavalier LS Sport '03. So far really havn't done anything to it but i'm looking to modify it gradually. Nothing too much under the hood as this is my first car and if i can go faster then i will (i'm going to attempt to NOT get a ticket within my first year! ) but definite changes looks wise. Any suggestions or helpful tips would be greatly appreciated
I'm learning as i go along but i'm trying to make as few mistakes to my car as possible!!
Also are they known for being temperamental when starting? Because in general it starts perfectly, but every now and again it will take 2 or 3 tries to actually take and start....do i need to be worried??........

Since nobody really wants to answer your question I will...if you just do a simple body kit and rims your car will definatley spice up a bit. Just remember that with looks comes the race problems...at least where I'm from it does, so mod quickly for performance!!!

Dont be a smarta$$...although it is better than being a dumba$$

Thankyou for actually answering a question lol.
I've been looking at a couple of body kits but i don't really know what to pick...i don't want one thats too low becuase i don't drive carefully enough or have the patience to avoid all the potholes etc! Lol.
And what do you mean by "race problems"?

hey, welcome to the org! well, what he means is if you have a body kit, ppl will want to race you, so make your car fast.(i choose to rev my engine, an d then pull off slowly...makes em feel stupid, and gives me a chance to see some1 get pulled over every once in a while, lol!) also, please don 't write in that pink color...hurts my eyes to read.
also, lots of stuff you can do...from changing bumbers and fenders, to adding side skirts and spoilers, to full out pain t jobs! you can change your headlights and taillights, add side markers into your fenders, get bigger, or different rims...lots of options. i usually start with handling m ods though...more fun to drive, but not faster yet, so its harder to get into troub le, haha!

by the way, sorry for the spaces in between words...using my roommates mac, and it does that sometimes, and no, i'm not fixing it...the more i'm on this thin g the m ore pissed i get at it

Firstly thankyou I'm happy to be here lol.
And ohh i figured it was probably along those lines. Yeah i love my speed and all but not so much for the street races really.
Love the whole rev your engine and go slowly. Thats awesome lol. My main fault is impatience at traffic lights. I don't want to race or anythign like that i just hate it when people stay still once a green lights comes on...no no. Doesn't happen with me lol.
I apologise no more pink writing
Yeah i have side moldings and pin stripes so they will certainly be the first thing removed- i already changed out the headlights becuase mine had gone that icky yellowish color. I just need/want to put HID's in them hopefully this week at some point after that i'm looking at switching my spoiler/trunk lid and from that point it'll just be done as i go along lol.
As for the spaces...it's quite alright. I have an aversion to mac's so i understand your pain! lol
