Well the mod is something that most people dont understand and run around telling people to cut a wire or switch a wire which will end up screwing your car up.
Ive always wondered why people with no mods think they need the limiter removed. My car can barely make it to 100.

The other thing is also that morons passing (or even approaching for that matter) the speed limiter on public roads put other people's lives endanger. If you have ever known someone who was killed in a car accient, you would feel the same about people who want to remove the limiter.
ok thanks jw .. i personly think cavalier arnt worth to be fast cars . i would put my money into a bmw or audi . as if i was going for speed but the cavaliers can look dam good and i got a good deal on one so im gonna get it looking sweet i hope . and just use it for a dd. but like i said im a all out truck dude so this is my 2 cents

any car can be fast, and there are plenty here.
people who ask about the VSS mod are usually clueless as to what it takes to modify a car to safely handle and get to those types of speeds, and its usually done in an unsafe environment (ie. not a track)
this is how you take it off.
1. take a hammer
2.open hood
3.bash everything at least 12 times!
4.go drive 108 and see if it works!
Who needs to go that fast to disable the VSS? No J here needs it.

Since most J-bodies tires were only rated to 106mph........that 108mph speed limiter seems a little high.
Side note...most GOATS had a 245/45R17 99V tire.................Speed limiter is 155mph correct? On a 149mph tire.

Mine are H rated. Im good to go 108 in my stock 2200. Buhahahahha.
The vss mod is about as bad as your spelling homie.
Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.
