Anyone have any suggestions on how to start a j-body club?
first of all dont make it a j-body club...
well if you try to do a J only club first of all you would be closed minded for doing so.. clubs are made up of enthusiasts no matter the car they can respect it if its done well.. and to approach people its pretty easy, just approach them like you would a women.. without looking at there boobs that is

I agree with arrival. If anything, make it either a Pontiac club or a GM club. This will attract way more people than a J-Body only club. It will also broaden your horizions. You will meet all kinds of different people and learn about all kinds of different cars which is always a good thing.
I am a pretty shy person around people I don't know, but I have gotten over this by simply approaching people in a public place and striking up a conversation about their car. For instance, say you see a car pull into a gas station. Pull up by them and say, "Hey, nice car!" Some people might react as if you're crazy or something, but most people will think it's cool if you strike up a conversation about their car or compliment it. I have actually gained a few good friends by doing just this.

It is not a wise idea to race people, especially on public streets. This is not how you make friends. This is how you make enemies. Not to mention you have a 2200 powered Sunfire Sedan so you won't win any race anyway. You will only make yourself look stupid and immature.

im start with some body work, but not alot like new fenders because mine are all messed up, but hey my car is powered by a 2200 and i win some i lose some, not to mention i got the base model sooooooo slower......lol but yeah, i win against most of the hondas and some mitsubishis (becuase of the drivers dont know how to shift) i usta race with my blazer, go off the line quick but slowed down after a while, i race on public streets but make sure no one is in the way and every thing is all good (i was going to say safe but street racing isnt lol)
