Hello, I'm looking to add a k and n or similiar filter to my stock intake pipe on my 96 2.2L. What size would I need for it to fit into the stock tube. I bought a 3" one, but that was too big ...does anyone know what autozone or other parts stores carry that would work? Thanks!

oh and most auto parts stores carry the spectre brand where you can piece together an inake, or just go on ebay to get a whole unit

Truth, But he still didn't see the 3-4 other threads with cold, air, and intake in the title on this page alone.
Seriously though, Just buy some tubing and a filter. Definitely want 2.5" or a little smaller for a completely stock engine. My 3" is only staying because there are lots of other goodies in the works.
I just picked up a bunch of Vibrant aluminum tubing, t-bolts, and couplers from the local speed shop here.
You will never notice a difference between this and a $300 AEM.
