Nice to meet everyone. I picked up a 1999 Cavalier 2dr Coupe 175k miles, 2.2l motor, Automatic, A/C doesn't blow cold, it needs a battery body has standard rust(behind the doors and around the edges) needs a windshield, motor purrs like a kitten. It needs a couple O2 Sensors, but the Interior is near mint. $650 turn key and drove it 25miles home 85mph. What a champ! I already love this car! So....go ahead and tell me the bad stuff??? This will be my sons 1st car. He turns 16 next month and I couldn't pass this up! What do you think?
i bought my 99 cav with 162k for about 800 and it had the same symptoms as yours lol. minus the rust. (im in cali). 2.2 IMO makes for a great first car.

damn i paid close to 300 i think for my window... safelite. lifetime though.
To me right now the car is Junk!! Transmission problem so it wont pass E-Check! What a disappointment!
