I have a 2005 sunfire, no mods for now, the only thing it has is an k&N box air filter that doesn't do much or nothing. I don't have time for now to go to the track to see how does it run. I think it might run 1/4 mile in about high 15 or low 16 I think or more don't know. Might be adding stuff like an short ram intake, an exhaust and some simple suspension mods but not much in the future but for now is completely stock
Have anyone run an auto ecotec in a track and what numbers could I expect from my car?
you should search a little this post was covered more than once. currently the fastest auto eco is in the 14's I belive. stock your numbers are about right.

I was wondering what my car would do at the track also since ive never been to the track. I have a custom 21/2 inch exhaust, spectre performance custom intake, car customs upper and lower motor mounts and the auto trans interceptor, all on a 2002 Z24 2.4L.
with my mods as listed.........16.2 was my best time
Some people on this site say they run high 15s with stock 5-speed ecotecs and i beat 2 5-speed ecos and an auto, so i guess my car should run around the same, right?

Fastest AUTO eco I've heard of (street driven by a guy on this site) was Cody with a 14.0 on nitrous, but he sold that car and bought a Honda
Thanks for all the help. I hope to find some time to go to the track during the nex two weeks.
the cams are through Jbody performance and the torque converter is made by Yank but i bought it through Ebay when they had a bunch they were just getting rid of

2003 Silver Cavalier 2.2L Ecotec!!!!
I agree with 99red. As far as a Short ram, i would suggest getting a k&n highflow cool air intake to go with your k&n box. youll get more power and cool air. short rams basically do the same thing but they dont keep it cool. short rams flow hot air.
