i'm running 15.2's in the 1/4 as of now i just wanted to get some guestamations of what i might run with a ported HO intake manifold and the HO cams. my profile is complete so the type of car and its mods are all listed under my profile. i'm just curious and getting anxious to see what i'll run i'm guessing somewhere in the 14.9's maybe a 14.8 what do ya'll think.

your adding some stuff but not it all if you want full gains out of all that get some injectors out of the 2.3 HO and a bigger throttle body.......
when you start putting more AIR in to a motor you also gotta put in more FUEL........then you need bigger exhaust to get it all back out
i have a bigger throttle body and i have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. don't have bigger injectors tho i might need those as well, huh? as far as exhaust all pipes are 2 and a quarter should i get bigger pipes maybe 2 and a half inches? i'm looking to get the most out of everything making it as fast as possible before boost
how the hell do you only run a 15.2 with those mods?
ive got everything there you have except the header/exhaust and cams and im running 15.4.....not to bag on you, im just curious what the deal is......
a clutch might help you tap 14's....just a thought.

You're talking like he's boosted or something. I used the 2.3 TB and the Manifold for several thousand miles on my stock injectors. He's really not taking in THAT much more air.
And also, you're dumbing down the process waaay too much. He's going to want to throw in some huge injectors and a huge exhaust and he's going to come back with a post "Not making power!" Because of it.
Not only that but the 2.3 HO cams won't work in the 2.4LD9 without some modifications of the cam towers, and even then, You'll see codes because the cam is just a little too weird for the car. at least that's what people say happens. If he really wanted a decent and cheap cam set, he should look for the hybrid cam set. not the HO unless he had some way to let the computer know not to throw wild codes.
upon further inspection of his profile. he says Hybrid cam swap. The hybrid cam swap is not the HO cam swap mind you.
i'm guessing that i got the lingo or whatever all mixed up i'm planning on doing the secret cam swap i got the cams and all that but all this talk about its gonna make me slower and i'm gonna throw codes is kinda scurin me. based on what Nari says then i guess i'm doing the hybrid cam swap. will these make me go slower or throw any codes? as far as why i'm only running 15.2's i only made 2 passes so maybe i coulda done better if i had more passes. although i would agree that a clutch would prolly make a difference. no back to the main question now that we got everything cleared up as far as the cams what should expect and what do u guys think i'll run on the 1/4?

my best time is 15.11 and all i have is a better clutch, engine mounts, and intake
15.11@90.95 is my best time
and realistically no one can tell you what your going to run at the track. no 2 cars are ever the same and no 2 cars take to the mods the same......its all about learning YOUR car and how to optimise what you have.
Get a set of STICKY tires they will help you launch better and that will make your time faster. my best 60' is 2.02 try to get down in the 2.1 which is a good 60
just remember practise makes perfect
true that, tru that, traction is somewhat of a problem. but u also have to look at it this no track is the same one track may be off by a couple tenths or even a whole second or it could be faster. but yea i think i definitely need to upgrade my clutch and some tires would definitely help.

I ran 15.1's with intake, cat-back, and motormounts.
It's really not that uncommon to run 15.0's-15.2's with very few bolt-on's.
