I intended on keeping my '01 Cavi for a long time, but I was offered a price I could not refuse by a friend of mine. I drove it since October and put 15k miles on it. I really had no gas efficient transportation after getting rid of the Cavalier (My Durango can barely manage 12mpg in the winter)
Maybe one of these days I'll pick up another if the right price comes along (definitely not another automatic though) This car was very reliable for me, but I'm a Mopar guy at heart as you can see by my driveway, haha. But then again, every GM I have owned has been very good to me.
Bye bye Cavi...
Anyway, here is what I picked up as the replacement... '01 Neon R/T 2.0 H.O. 5-speed, leather, sunroof, and power everything. I've already started cutting out my projector headlights from the Cavalier housings, so no those aren't for sale
They will be going in the Neon. I need lowering springs!
I have yet to detail it (Too cold out there lol)
its an upgrade from the cav no lie... and i hate neons lol
I'll be honest.. I wasn't looking for a Neon when I came across it. But it's too clean and too well optioned to pass up so I bought it. lol
Nice looking car. Definite upgrade from a 4 door Cav.
nice car dont know too much about neons whats the specs on that engine?
Honestly I couldn't tell you.
It's pretty peppy, but I've no clue on what kind of output it has. Not really a concern of mine though, I bought it for fuel economy
haha what size motors in it?
lol i didnt even realize it i ment motor
He said that it has a 2.0 DOHC in it, probably the A588. All I can say is that it's a better engine and doesn't suffer from bad oil pumps, bad water pumps, and ignition problems of the LD9.
wow didnt even read.. man i need to get some sleep lol
Meh. I despise Neons... I really do, but nice find. Not bad... AND AS FAR AS YOU KNOW... I DID NOT SAY IT WAS NICE... just for the record. Now if it was a Srt-4.... I might admit to saying something nice.
all the options it has are nice, but my god it's ugly.
