$350 worth of radio gone.... Dash and door damaged...
Allstate covers the damage under comprehensive and I only have a $50 deductible... But I will still be out the cost of the radio. Fortunately there is no inside trunk release in my car and the Subs were screwed down with "L" brackets so they didn't have time to get the subs or amp. Car is too dirty to get fingerprints.

Thats seriously sucks man, take the insurance money (If you get any) and shave your locks and handles, maybe next time they wont mess with it. Atleast if they do it will just be a window instead of a whole door.

I was at home. My g/f drove the car to work and forgot to take the face off of it. And I already have two guns.

Acutally wish that she was.. It might not have happened. Thieves go for the path of least resistance. Why assault someone, draw attention to themselves, and then try to steal the radio? She said it was parked 4 places down from the front window of her work. Said she could watch it the entire time and never saw anything. The thief is in and out under 30 seconds with the radio.

Sorry to hear that man. Dont you wish you could be walking by when you see someone in your car, ripping out the stereo. The gratification of completley kicking their ass in the parking lot would be enough joy to pay to fix the door lock and keeping the stereo

Do you have an alarm on that? The same thing happened to me, they ripped off my old lcd screen but left all the power supply in the car. That was all they took because I think my cheap alarm went off when they ripped apart my dash. Anyways I have a better alarm now and nothing heppened yet, and I hope nothing happens in the future

looks like they knew what they were doin when they broke into it man, not a lot of people know you can jack a car just by drillin a hole below the lock. you can't do that with every car either man, i would talk to some people that you may know have bad reps for doin this kinda @!#$ and whoop some freakin ass.

Ahh! They did that to mine, but got into my trunk as well. It sucks man, but it gave me a reason to improve my system. I had a brand new Kenwood MP3 Deck that they stole and 2 10" Kicker L5s with a Kicker 400.1 amp. Either way it was like $750 worth of equipment and then both the door lock and the trunk lock. They also scratched the hell out of my window tinting.
Sorry to see it. Did you have an alarm on it? Thats the first thing i planned on putting in when i rebuild my system. I think your lucky they didn't hit your trunk as well
Man that sucks bro, but it is that easy they use a screwdriver under the lock and pop it out and turn it it unlocks everytime. happen to a friend of mine. but like it was said before to many damn jealous people out there in the world cant afford to buy there own @!#$.

they did an almost identical thing too my friends car, had the whole in the door right below the lock and the dash was just ripped up and the head unit gone...
Had my head unit stolen last month had similar sammages to the dash (and a dent in the door) and it came up to 621$
plus the radio cheque of 300$
luckily i only have a 100$ deductable
but yeah i know like almost everyone who replied in this thread that it just plain suck!
Well, sorry to hear about that man, that happened to my uncles coversion van (when I borrowed it) they broke the whole steering column and tried hot wring it (basically left it undriveable) the sob caused 700 in damages luckly my uncle had full coverege and paid a 500 deduct. But sine when I park my kav at the same area right in front of my house, I Have a bat, who slip on shoes and a light ready for some real ass kickn. My area is bad and I recently moved here, so this fcks know me and they better not even look at my kav. But just have a bat, cell, slip on shoes, and maybe a camera to catch them on the act, and then give them a comma and dump them unconsiously in the worsest ghetto area of your city or town.
