it all depends on the insurance company, just keep on their ass about it.
also dont take the first offer they give you for car, you can deal with them on the price just like when you are buying a car,
a friend of mine had his 03 malibu totaled and after going back and forth with the ins company he ended up getting almost $1,100.00 more for his car than their first offer.

well, after totaling the cavi, i went out today and bought a 2006 cobalt, arrival blue. very sweet car i'll have pics tomorrow.
