I'd love to see the 2 go head to head. Looks like the black one is a little faster.

that run they lost 1 cylinder when they shifted to 4th, but they werent able to make another run because their cage wasnt legal for the time they ran, defiantly going to be going faster next year.

Pretty sure you're right. Not to mention it looks completely stripped down. Not even a back bumper. Isn't the AMS evo street legal?

i highly doubt it. It started its life as a street/strip car but now.. I'm pretty sure its purely a race car now.

I wish it was at the DSM/EVO shootout this year, sucks it wasnt. ( still had a great time)

also the video at HIN of it making 1000+ wheel horsespower was pretty cool, check it out.

look at the valve cover there still running coil on plug...???

that block is making well over a grand and they haven't switched to a distributer I thought that was standard procedure.

and what the hell is with the power brakes.

I haved loved these guys from the start. they really know there @!#$, and Ive loved watching this car go.

standard procedure for ecos, yea. COP is best because it gives each coil the maximum amount of time to rest, and recharge inbetween ignition events.

power brakes look normal on that car. I think what you're looking at is the vacuum manifold (mounted on the firewall just above the intake manifold).

then why dont all of the high end 1k dragsters switch its not like its that hard?
@!#$ why doesnt any one here switch I mean all you need is a cam and crank sync and a big ol box of wires with an ign mod to figure it out right?

also I see the vacum block, (which is sexy BTW) but im refering to the booster. are vacum assasited brakes normal for these cars?

god damnit and coil on plug too.... we pullled our coils off a 2.7 dodge stratus and rewired to the stock coils. arg, they are 1 step ahead of us the whole time....#%$%$$##$ ams. i wish we had unlimited resources too! the only thing keeping us back is 1200cc injectors. not as easy to finds as some my think

ecosleeper- i think AMS is a little bit more then a "step" ahead of you. Also , i didnt have trouble finding 1600cc injectors for a 91 gsx/ converted to e 85. not too sure what you are talking about..

anyways, back on topic, lets not ruin this post please.

Anyways, all of the ams videos are great to watch.
