Well I think the Cavy is getting traded in this week. My dad knows a guy that works at a Kia dealer he has dealt with in the past with a couple of his cars. They have some Forte and Forte Koups they are tryin to move. I went in and test drove one of each and really liked each one. They seem like they have a pretty quality build compared to some of their previous cars. Anyone have any experience with these? The 10yr/100k is pretty nice also, but I'm lookin to get one this week.
Ive driven the sx koup for 250 mile with the manual...not a bad car...not a great one either...but for the money you really cannot go wrong as long as you do not care about resale value...and as an owner of a cavalier myself in the past, i can speak that you probablt dont care and will drive the car into the ground. If that is the case then go for it. If you are worried about resale, get a civic or a tc.
Not unintentionally accelerating since 2009!!!!
my cousin loves hers(koup 5spd).
been in the shop for a lot of warranty work tho(mostly mechanical).
she don't care bcuz it has a warranty and she bought the esp for it.
just last week her parking brake cable snapped lol
oh and the radio turns it self of sometimes and the
sunroof leaks water and the dealer tried to adjust it a few times with no luck i guess.
she has about 35k on hers.
like i said she loves it though.
but she wants the chevy cruze now. idk what her plans really are
i drove it.
its ok.
not bad. not great.

I drove the SX sedan and really liked it. With the trade-in on my car and the deal I'm getting I'll be looking at about 8k out the door for a Brand new car.
Wow 8k after trade-in? Damn Kia's are cheap. Your monthly payments will be too

Just be sure they are a stand up Kia dealership or at least find one nearby that'll do the warranty work without bitching. I haven't heard one good thing about the local kia dealership's service department, either they try to deny warranty work and/or say nothing's wrong to not fixing the problem after several times.
i really enjoy the forte's looks actually. kia hit a home run on the sport wheels, those i absolutely love. i drive them for hertz all the time at work and have not really had any complaints. radio's are loud, decently quick and the interior is very nice.
honestly, if i had the money id buy one for a daily driver in a heart beat.
Oldsmobile all motor > Saab/Opel boosted
Well I got approved for the loan and everything.. going up Tuesday to try and close, they have a dark grey sedan with a 6 speed that I really like. We'll see what happens.
pics asap!
