1997 Plymouth Breeze, 2.0, Auto, $300.
Perfect beater.
Needs a big ole hood scoop and chrome hubcaps. Maybe Altezzas and a coffee can muffler.
HUGE "Plymouth" decal across the windshield would be classy.
Nah, It's time where I want something comfortable for my drives to and from college/work/home/etc..
And because I miss having 3 cars. But it's time to stop dd'ing the cav. And it was cheap as all hell.

just a heads up the Transmissions are known to literally fall out of these cars.
Hell for 300 bucks if you drive it for a month you'll get your moneys worth.even if you scrap it you can get 300 bucks.
These cars were made to be beaters even on the showroom floor. Good luck with it, try searching for another one for spare parts.

That's no surprise to me. That is what I'm fixing
Got a tranny for $75
That was what I drove in driver's ed back in high school, a blue one, same year. I HATED that car, it had no power & I would get in trouble for mashing the pedal to the floor trying to get it to GOOOOO! I already had my license when I was in driver's ed, couldn't wait to get out of the Breeze & back in my '86 6000, the Breeze made it feel fast haha! Good luck with it!
The front end is fairly fresh, It also has a new windshield.
I was reading about possibly swapping to a DOHC head? Not too sure, But this is the 16V SOHC.
Korey had one that leaked oil like no ones business.
Mike did you get my text the other night?
Yes, They leaked oil bad between two cylinders (I don't recall which two specifically). There is a gasket to fix this and you can identify it by a metal tab with a hole in it sticking out from between the block and head.
I did not get your text the other day, Send it to the right number?
Dammit. You didnt change numbers again did you? I was watching Cops and they yanked some Mexican guy out of a white Bravada after he ran from them. Wanted to tell you I saw you on TV.
what number do you have? it should still be the same one..
I found this motor shares the same bottom end as the 420A.
easy build if I so choose
the 420a will be dime a dozen, just look for a non turbo 95-99 eclipse

I hasnt got one.
You should hella-flush that Breeze.
just drive the balls off that thing...i'd just drive it till it dies.
