LOL! Hell yeah!
That CRX seams to haul!
Nice! That honda took off lol
I dont think I have ever seen a video of an econo box beating a muscle car in a drag race.

That might be due to the LSD, 2 step, and drag slicks, I think they are 10" wide.

REALLY?
Well let me do some digging in my files.
He has handed it to many muscle cars.
We keep trying to line him up with Corvette Z06's but no such luck yet.
Right now he is on a personal tune, not professional.
He is trying tor 25-30PSI and 500+HP with a professional tune for spring '11.
lol considering that crx prolly weighs 1500 pounds with the driver....
that stang doesnt seem to really be in it off the line. 12's for the way that thing sounds is slow. from the burnout alone i would have guessed at least mid 11's, high 10s.
still impressive.

Not hating on the Honda the way your original post is just blatantly hating on muscle cars.... but the Mustang driver wasn't launching good at all. That Honda obviously has good tires, some decent work under it, and a much harder launch. I don't doubt him winning one bit. Wondering what's done to it though, out of curiosity.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Plus Mr. Mustang couldn't shift for @!#$
Procharged Cobra "Testing" sounds to me like they were at a test and tune and doing some shake down runs. The seems to show the same.
Here are some pics of the CRX.
He was going for a sleeper style, but when he saw my intercooler, he went the same route.
He is runing an upgraded SRT-4 FMIC.
A fully built motor, transmission, fuel system, methanol injection, full suspension, and many other things.
So far his best time is a 11.5 @ 121, in that video.
So, where was the fast ford..?
Was the mustang even trying!?
would rather have the mustang
Even if the intercooler was hiden those tires are a give away
bet this thing is fun on the highway.

This, the main reason I got out of the honda scene. Launching is high HP FWD is a bitch. On the streets any decent amount of power is just spin spin spin. My miata is so much easier to hook up. I'm not making the big power like I was with the integra but its useable power and so much more fun because of it.
Not to be a dick but I don't get the point? Is this Honda supposed to be fast cause it's a D series? Lots of dudes making near or over 400whp on STOCK D's running alot faster than that.
For a built D in a CRX that thing is kinda slow, my buddies cav runs 11.92 with 390whp and probably weights 1000lbs more than that CRX.
Also is that mustang on street tires?
Since this is my video, I feel I should comment. It was just a test and tune night. The Cobra was doing some shake downs and then the clutch failed. Anyone that thinks it was a fair race should compare trap speeds, and take into account the Cobra missed 2nd gear.
hmm i smell something fishy here
No newt, I would think it's supposed to be fast because it's running 11.5@121 with a good launch. LOTS of people making over 400whp on STOCK D series? Really?? Even if that were true, did I miss the post telling how much power he's putting down? And running A LOT faster than that? Like 11 flat?? Please don't tell me high 10's. Also, the Mustang could be running street tires, which could be why they didn't get a good launch, which would also be the reason his trap speed is 121mph. Crappy 60' times generally contribute to higher trap speeds so comparing trap speeds without a good launch could be deceiving.
dont care how fast it is, id take the mustang over that tin can anyday

I'll take the integra in the pics.
I gotta agree with matthew

Lol at this thread yes my car ran a @!#$ time but the 3.27 gears I have didn't help, my clutch went the next pass. Not really a fair run IMO but oh well its broke now
