hi guys,
need some help with the above issue. key would not go all the way back so it could be retreat. It got stuck in the IGN 1. I removed the center console and moved a cable that runs from the shifter to the steering wheel and it finally came out. I placed the key back in the ignition and needed to move the cable back to get it out as before. I left the cable unhooked so we are able to remove the key for the mean time. Does any one know if it could be the cable or the mechanism inside the shifter. Nothing seems to be broken or missing. Im afraid I will have to replace whole shifter. Anyone works at a Nissan delarship? Thanks in advance.
