Seems like Australia is always getting the shaft.

I was going to get an SS after I go into the service
I guess I'll have to start looking at cars again
So I just talked to my friend who works for GM. He said the plan is to shut down production there and move it here.
So Holden is coming to the USA??
According to my friend, yes production is coming here. If that means we will start seeing more GM cars here, I have no idea. I need to talk to him a bit more
Okay, so what my friend is telling me is that the Holden vehicles will now be platform sharing with most of the American platforms. Holden vehicles will be rebadged and all that jazz and exported. Im assuming we won't be seeing any new vehicles since the Holden vehicles will be using platforms built here
I want a ss truck!
On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.

Doubt it. GM will probably just call them Chevy's down there now since using the Holden name would be a slap in the face to every Aussie after 2017. Guess the Aussie's can say goodbye to the ute's as well as GM execs sure won't waste money making new ones just for that market.

From what I have been told Holden will still be alive. The are keeping marketing and design studios there, just moving production to save money. But I do agree that they will kill off the Holden name at some point
I hope the ss comes with a manual trans.
