I have done a lot of searching and haven't found much on this topic here, so going out to the garage for a break. I understand how the MSII controls the ignition but I am a little confused on the ICM wiring. The MSII can uses the stock crank trigger wheel 6+1, but pin 36 on the MSII board is where my question is.
It displays on the schematic, ignition Module/ Coil, so I know its an output. However, not exactly sure on which wire I attach it to on my stock ICM. Does anyone have a break down on the ins and outs of the 2.4LD9 ICM.
Thanks in advance

That's because you can't (not "as-is" at least). You need a first gen GM 4-cyl DIS ICM, such as the early 90's quad4's, LN2's and I believe some later Tech IV's had.
The MSEFI pages are very helpful in getting everything setup.

What wire is typically used to trigger for just fuel injection on MSII? Red Black wire the ICM refference low or, Purble white 7x refference signal, I could not get this signal to work.
Pins 32-35 ground the injectors (trigger them as you call it). There should be 2 leads with 2 wires coiled around each other. It's been a while since I have done it, so my memory is a little flaky. If you are asking how to get a tach signal, if you use the older ICM, there is a tach output signal you can use, otherwise, I believe the new MSII codes can decode the VR sensor signal.

Yeah tach signal. Thanks for the help, The MSII does decode VR. I have been on the forums, MSEFI pages and reading for probably 12 hours i nthe last 2 days. I am just having trouble with the set up with the jumpers I guess. I think I may have cooked something in the main board. Its been a rough weekend.

Sorry to hear that. I hope everything works out for you.
