alright, i need someone with tuning experience, mainly with HPtuners to inform me on what i need to do. I have a 2000 2.4 cavy that is turbocharged but the car came with apex'i safc2 and the gm s/c reflash. in a nutshell the car cant idle for crap unless u wait for about 10 or 15 minutes for the low rpm fuel richness to go away... What do i need to do in hptuners to get the car to stop dumping so much fuel at stock without getting deep into tuning?
The big issue is the car has 44#injectors and the s/c reflash reads 37# or something of that nature right? well if i were to change the tune to read the 44# injectors will that help it? The bad symptoms that it gets are it dumps too much fuel on startup and in first gear, so u cannot start the car without hitting the gas pedal to get some of that fuel out and u cannot drive too slow in first or it will flood.. are there any minor things i can do without getting deep into the fuel tables?
i want to be able to idle it without the added fuel...im thinking if that is changed then first gear should be fine as well..
What I would do is take the SAFC off first. Then start with setting it up for the correct injectors it has, and retune all VE tables.
