I recently purchased HPT, and Im getting everything slowly, however some very key data is not being logged. I cant get anything on my injector duty cycle %. the parameter is shown on the scanner however it doesnt show up. any ideas?

also I chose the option for amature tuner, is there any way to go back and select pro tuner. ?

You have to set-up IDC to be logged.

When you say amature, are you speaking of the version of HPT you bought?

Open up a tune then click Edit>View>Advance. Thats in the VCM Editor only I believe.

Save your money. It might be worth something someday.

in the scanner, open the Table (Primary) its the white square with black lines on it.

these are the items you're monitoring with the scanner. reduce them to only the stuff you want/ have.

for example, monitoring bank 2 things are useless because there is no bank 2 on a 4 cylinder.
monitoring a MAF sensor is stupid because we do not have it.

Those cells when active, eat up sample rate.. the fewer things you monitor, the faster and more accurate the scanner is.. so reduce it only to things you feel are essential items

to get IDC to work, you have to monitor RPM, and you have to monitor the injector pulsewidth of one of the injectors (you can only use one) I used cyl. 1, but ultimately doesn't really matter.

when those are active, IDC will work.
