Reflash vs. HPT

This spring I'm putting on a supercharger from parts gathered from a Cobalt SS. I do plan on getting a full exhaust and having a wideband sensor. Should I just run with the reflash or would I be better off finding someone to tune my car with HPT?

I want to ultimately run meth and a 3.0 pulley if not smaller than that. I'm sticking with stock internals, but I want to reach around 230whp or 240whp.

Thanks!

Ultimately a GM reflash will cost you:

1-1.5 hours labor. Generally $120 an Hour (depends on if it's u.s. or canada)

So at most, that would be around $200 bucks.

If you just want 230hp, you can go the re-flash route....But your car has the Eco, so the pcm will be locked. If you don't think you will go beyond the capabilities of the reflash, then this is the best choice.

If you think that there is even a SMALL chance that you will want to run more psi, then HP Tuners is the way to go....for sure.

It's up to you man....are you going to be happy with 240hp? or will you get bored and want more? haha..

What he said ^^. Also I would not run meth unless tuning is going to be used.

Thanks! Now that was with the 3" pulley? and Cobalt SS stock injectors?

I can get the reflash done for $90, but from what I understand the reflash cannot go lower than 3.1" pulley.
