The best advice I ever got while learning to use HPTuners is: READ READ REA AND ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS . Like most things iit will be difficult at first but it gets easier as you gain experience. If you do not have the patients to do the logging and modifying its best left to a tuner .

Willingness to learn and a little patience is all you need. I'm a high school drop out, X-pot-head /drunk and I figured it out (well enough to tune my S/C '98 Jimmy and stock '00 Blazer)
I'm in norfolk. Its easy to change shift points/speed but the credits cost 100.
