when you scan with HPT does the injector duty cycle show up? it did once for me, and never again, I thought that should show up all the time, is there a setting I gotta screw with?

yup sure does, highest ive observed is 89% duty cycle, and now that im going to be adding more fuel from 6000-6400 im sure that number might creep a bit higher, its prob time to start thinking about some bigger injectors since im prob pushing what i have a bit too hard

thats crappy, mine has worked one time, and that was it, with the 650cc I see a maximum of 50-55% at 3rd @ redline.

50% haha damn that aint working hard lol

ya u should only run your injectors to about 85% 90 is pushing it man go to some bigger injectors

How well does your car idle with 650cc injectors?? I'm thinking about ordering them as well and I have HPTuners. I know that I can change the injector constant blah, blah, blah. I'm still a little skeptical that it will idle well. Let me know.
idles like a charm, takes a bit of work, but works great, what kind of HP numbers are you wanting to run? I just the 650 cause I got a smokin deal on them, for the same price I would have got 550cc.

350+whp, I have a t3/t04e 50trim .48 a/r rear mounted set-up, intercooler, etc, etc. 650's aren't actually what I've bought, 750's are. Thanks for responding, I'll give it a shot with the 750's.
what exactly did you do to make the injectors idle right, im in major need of some, im hitting 93% duty cycle right now
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
you change the injector constant. I also messed around with 500-1500 RPM VE tables to remove the stupid GM s/c TC, idling issue where sometimes it just dies.

i didnt get any results by changing the injector constant

that will give you results, you might have to drive it for a couple minutes or your computer may try to over compenstate for the changes, give it another try, it'll work

I have a log of my duty cycle....... at 7300 I'm pushing 95% duty on my stock injectors........
and thats N/A
I need a wide band to lean it out a bit, narrow band sensor reads HIGH 9xxmV @ WOT..... about 12.0:1 I believe.
Maybe I'll turn the fuel pressure up a few lbs..... I'm running at stock pressure

Your probabally not going to be able to do a whole lot with the fuel curve after 6500. Ive got mine tweeked out to 12.5 but by the time it hits 7000rpm its running pretty rich.

I understand the maps dont extend that far, but by raising my fuel pressure, the injectors dont have to work as hard..... try to bring that Duty cycle back down under 90%

actually the VE tables do go to 7000

sorry to bring this back from the dead but I'm having the same trouble
I'm logging RPMs, but pulsewidth disappeared.. I can't find it anywhere
its not under the fuel tab in the PID screen.. I think I found it in the 'sensor' screen, however it just says 'injector' and there's only one.. I guess its an average between all 4?

I may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
PJ - its under user defined and make sure you have it in your table then you can make a guage for it, in fact I can send you my config file its the best guage setup evar

logged a 6600rpm tug in 4th... got my duty cycle up to 55%

i found it, thanks matt
my stock injectors at 7000rpm are seeing 97% duty cycle haha
targeted air fuel ratio is 13:1 i'm still seeing as rich as 11:1 up top... hmm
need to do some more logs..
VE tuning is your friend
