Well another post talking about swapping ecus, brought a thought to this brain of mine.
If you ran the Gm ECO S/C reflash on a N/A ECO would this hurt, help, or be plain stupid?
I was wondering because I wanna swap in a 04 Reflashed for the supercharger into my 03 in prep for my turbo kit later on down the road.... so would this hurt the car or help? Im not 100% sure on what all the reflash does.
I do know it works to give the car a steady stock"ish" Air/ fuel while adding more fuel, that compensates for knock from the S/C's boost. How it gets there I have no clue, but the point is if I were to be running my intake, high flow cat/ catback only and swap in the flashed ecu for the time being would it hurt the car??
Any thoughts on this would be great!!
You are going to throw codes like crazy, and run like crap.
I got the Flash BEFORE I installed the SC (Flash at the dealership-drove 10 minutes to install site) and this is what happened to me.
I would suggest NOT doing it.
