It won't force others to do much...all that is is a sensor and controller. No actual read-out device at all.

They "lowered" it but the LC1 has been at that price for I don't know how long.

Yea that would of been the bomb price if there was some kind of readout gauge or something

It's another wideband controller, the same as many companies are putting out. Each brand's product has it's own aadvantagesand disadvantages, but most come with a controller, sensor, harness and two outputs for 0-1v narrowband signal and a 0-5v wideband signal. All you need is a display. For most companies I've found, the controllers start at $199 and go up from there, depending upon the features of the add on components (including readouts/displays). Many companies offer stand-alone display systems, which all seem to start at about $300 and up, depending upon the features they include, some have either a wideband and/or narrow band output(s).

A web search will turn up a multitude of wideband systems, most of which are similar in design and/or operation and starting approximately the same prices. Many systems are slowly starting to come down in prices and/or improving their features.

This info is based on the companies the I've look into, I'm sure someone has come out with other system set-ups and prices, but i have yet to find them.

These can be used, or any display unit using a 0-5v input.

Look through the PLX Devices web-site, they have a few reasonably priced wideband O2 systems and data logging devices/systems.

the guage is like 80 i think, but for those with hp tuners you can just plug the 5v output into the HP tuner box and get the reading on your laptop which is what you need for tuning anyway, no other displays are really needed except for looks
