fpr and fmu questions
Thursday, March 22, 2007 3:13 PM
I am about to start putting a turbo kit on my car, and I have lots of questions, but I am only going to ask a few right now. I have a 2002 cavalier with the 2.2 liter engine, and I need to get a adjustable FPR, and I was wondering where a good place to get one that bolts up to the rail would be, or a universal one, that actually has the right adapters. Also, what kind of adjustable FMU would you recommend getting, and could someone please explain to me how an adjustable FMU works, because I have one right now, that only has the fuel in and out, and a vacumn hookup, and I was wondering if this is an adjustable one or not. That is all I am going to bother you with right now. I really appreciate any advice or answers that you guys give me. Thank you

cartech 2035 serves as a fpr and a fmu it can control both and if you get a cartech 2025 its adjustable and if you have an ecotec accell and aeromotive make one that bolts up to our rails i think its for the lt1 or something like that search that up, if you have a single cam you need an adapter to get rid of the stock fpr and use a cartech 2035, thats all i can think of lol good luck

Thanks for the answer i appreciate it.Couple more questions, first, do you know where I can get an adapter for my fuel rail, If I get the cartech FMU. Also, I plan on running 8 psi, so should I upgrade my fuel pump, and if so, where can I get a good In Tank pump? Is it possible to get a pump from a parts store for a bigger car, like a v6 gm car, or what do you recommend? Thanks again
