we played with idle and made it go down to 600rpm, but worried its going to kill the alternator? also played withe fan worked like a charm.
the question i need to know is we changed the rev limiter to 7000rpm but it didnt change?
also we changed the high speed cutoff to 120mph but im afraid to try it on the local streets. i been to 173 but 200 km is a bit shaky?
600rpms is too low. get it up to at least 800
I want to share something with you - the three sentences that will get you through life. Number one, 'cover for me', Number two, 'oh, good idea, boss', Number three, 'it was like that when I got here.'

which tabels did you change....... both spark and fuel cuts??
im guessing only the fuel, the top speed didnt change either? i tried it this morning.
Change it EVERY place where it has the rpm's listed.

check out the www.hptuners.com forums, they have stickies under the "4cyl" section about REV limiter and Speed limiter (for track use only)
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
track use or i want to get valve float lol i think the ho cams make more power higher up i can tell after 4grand and it just keeps pulling. if i had 7500rpm then those pesky hondas might have soemthing to worry about lol
A 600 rpm would be horribly annoying if you have the solid motor mounts. I raised mine to 1200 rpms just so the car wouldnt shake so much at idle.

t shakes for sure, not to bad though, i think its killing the alternator spinning so slow with a underdrive pulley too. no lap top so i cant change it back yet. also i set my fan to come on early and that takes it toll on the alternator too sitting at lights.
