Does anyone know how to build a flame thrower kit for a cav, instead of buying a kit? Thanks

to answer the question, you remove the catalytic converter, weld a spark plug into the exhaust just before the end, and set the spark plug to fire when you want it to. if you don't have enough fuel left over, you can always hook up a propane tank to feed into the exhaust before the spark plug to provide a little extra fuel to burn.

Har har har......i just think it would be cool to have for fun on the street, even if it is illegal. I've never seen anyone around where I live with one so i thought it might be different. Plus it would be fun at shows. Knowing me i'll prolly set the car on fire.

you'd have to weld a spark plug on each end... and run the propane to each side. but yes, it would work.

i have one on my Z24 in europe, i use it when i pass people.......its a home made version with a fuel injector on the exhaust pipe.

Anyways, I would watch out with that. I saw a Civic with a body kit and flame throwers... Urethane melts easy.... It was funny watching his body kit melt.

hey brandon, I think that if you get a wing that sits alteast 6 ft off of the trunk then your car should lift off of of the ground at speeds of 75+, not real sure tho

sorry man, tried it, i can only pop wheeles over 80.......

My cousin always throws sparks on the front of my car, so i figure if i set his from clip on fire we could call it even

Because propane tanks and flames in a car is of no worry nowadays

It would make one hell of a boom though

i did it in my cavy, what you need is a small propane tank, and custom make a hose to go to ur exaust, put eigher a sparkplug with a coil then a button to activate the coil, or custom make a gas starter, like on a grill, and wire it up that way, really all you need is fuel and a spark and then you got ur flame. but in my opinion its a waiste of money and can damage ur car...alot.

The real old hot rods run a special mixture through the engine and exhaust. I saw this on tv before After they go to a show and fire off some flames they gotta do an oil change right away becasue everything gets striped. And yeah it's jsut a spark plug in the exhaust like they said.

Now i'm definitely getting one of those gay little fire extinguishers for when someone like you lights my car on fire. Or maybe to be nice to put your car out.

how can a fire extinusher have a preference?

How can our feet smell if they dont have a nose?

just turbo it and run really rich without a cat. ive shot flames many times. more of a quick burst than an actual flame like in the movies though.
