here is what my car looked like:



you kind sort of c how my muffler is...it sticks out a little farther than the bumper but its pretty much rests against it...i didn't c any heat damage to the type j...but i have just recently put an avenger kit on my car...and i dont want my muffler to warp the bumper or ruin the paint....will it get too hot and mess it up? or bc it stick out a little it should be ok?

and if it is touching the bumper...will that mess it up? should i drop it a little? i dont want it too look stupid, but i don't want the bumper or paint messed up

well my drift kit, it use to sit on the bumper on one side. i thought i trimmed it good but it just barely touched the muffler. when the car was running and i was a traffic light, i could hear the bumper rattle because of the exhaust was causing it to vibrate. over 2 weeks or so, it basically just trimmed itself up from the heat. if its possible try to get a cut around the bumper
