For the 2002, you need to trim out the bumper to fit the headlights...
Good thing you can read ruen....
This is
Matt Schreiner's car
You might want to ask him - I cant recally any other names of people who have done this, although I'm sure there are a few others. You'll have to trim the bumper where the headlights would be. Looks amazing when you do it though, the 00+ lights are way better.
I thought of doing this with mine but i just ended up doing the 99 front end conversion
1989 Turbo Trans Am #82, 2007 Cobalt SS G85
So with my 98 2200 non z-24 do I need to do ANY modifications to install the front bumper my rebar is removed as well

you shouldn't..i have a IF front on my 98 2200....just had to cut the crush panel
ok so it should mount up properly with my wheel well covers

All I had to do with my 99 z24, is cut the crush pad. i dont know about other years, or 2.2's and such

^^^ the 2000-2002 cavs have bigger headlights, so modifying the bumper is needed. for a 99 you wouldnt have to modify it.
The kit has replacement bumpers or bumper covers? And you don't have to get z24 wheel well liners for the 2200.
