Has anyone here had a custom sized window made for their car? I was playing around with styling ideas for my car and realized that it is possible modify the frame to enlarge the front and rear windshields and the sunroof. Only question is: where would I go to get a custom window made, and how much would it cost?

arm leg and left testicle if you want the windows plain, right testicle if you want them tinted, and both testicles and other pinkie finger if you want them polarized

I'm going to replace my rear side windows with some old school mushroom bubble van windows.
Assuming I have extra testicles, where would I go to have it done?

if you have extra testicles then you have another prob other then finding a place to find that will do the windows, sounds more like a tumor to me, lol, later

Id have to agree with customs on this subject, u might want to fork out the cash for the DR bill rather then the window bill

i wouldnt want to mess with the frame to begin with.. Its a unibody and if you start cutting it apart theres a very good chance it will lose its stability, i dont remember the name of the guy with the chopped top. I dont remember what kind of glass he was using, but if you can find him id shoot him an email. It wont be cheap and you probably wont be able to get insurance once you start taking a saw to your frame, but its its a strictly show car and you have the money doing something custom like that would look cool

I wouldn't be extending anything past the underlying support members in the frame... just replacing some body panel with glass. It wouldn't be much, but I think it would be very noticable, especially if the front windshield went down a couple more cm. If you were to hop in say an Acura RSX, it seems like the windshield is huge compared to the J-Bodys because it goes down a little more.

^^ no its just on a different angle. i have a integra also and you can tell that it just slopes different which makes it look bigger.
im not sure that a bigger windshield would look good anyway, just my op, do what you want tho, lol, later
