Ok I red an artical a LONG time ago about installing a motorized Licence plate kit. WHat it did was The Plate was hidden in the fron bedrail and simply when the truck was turned on the plate sild up thru a slot and was visible and when it was off it would fall in the slot.
Anyone know ehre I can get the kit?
Will I have to make it?
any ideas?

i saw it in the recent trucking magazine. mines going on the back of my drift kit on my truck
so its a hideaway plate set up that would be kinda cool if the price was right

autoloc sells somethign like that.. i seen it in their AD in the latest PASMAG, but i dont see it on their website for some reason..

Yes autoloc has them I think they cost about 250 or so. I just ordered mine like 2 weeks ago over the phone.

Uh, FBI has the same price as the link that Jason posted... $400. Jason said he gets it cheaper, but prolly not cheap enough for me, lol. I wouldn't mind havin' a hidden plate tho, my front one is attached to my visor
buddy of mine has a full size truck that sits low enough he had to motorize the plate to flip up at the flip of a switch. I think it was just an actuator on the bottom of the truck under the roll pan.
Worked great, except when he forgot to display the plate while driving and we got pulled over... SEVERAL times.
