I have a 2002 black Sunfire. Could anybody give me a few pointers on what would look nice on it? I am getting the windows tinted...and considering dropping it an inch or two (sucky winters here in IN) Check out my site for more pics.

do what i do in the winter... swap your stock bumpers back on. it's a little bit of work, but it'll keep your body kit in good condition.

you are going to have to sit down and think about what you want to do. i mean it is your car, your money. a drop would be nice. i personally went with a drop, F1 fenders, and a extractor hood. but its up to you really

i'd get the rksport valence kit for it. check out their site and look at it...i love the look of it on the 00-02sunfires, plus you can easily take the lips off during the winter.

well since you got rims, your car looks like a 4x4 (no offense to you, everyones car looks like that w/ rims and no drop) i say lower it

One thing I'd get rid of ASAP is those chameleon wipers!! Bleh. I've got those same wipers in black, but I need to get new cartridges for them b/c they're streaking now. Also you can get the clear lights up front to replace the amber/orange ones, would look WAY better IMO. And drop it like they're sayin'

You hit the nail on the head with the wipers. I've been wanting to get rid of them for some time now (Just haven't got around to it). As for the clear light covers up front, I've wanted to do that to, but I'm having a little trouble finding them. Know where I can find them?

you could hit a raccoon doing about 75 like i did....it does wonders for your front bumper. seriously though, drop it like its hot.

First off, just let me say your car looks really good already. Those wheels look hot with the black. Keep up the good work .

The following is only my opinion...

In my opinion you should get rid of the wipers, get rid of the window louvers, remove the side mouldings (this makes washing and waxing a lot easier), lower it, get the red arrowhead on the front bumper painted black (but leave the chrome outlines), get clear front bumper signals, a nice dual exhaust and get the plastic trunk panel painted black. I myself prefer the stock look these days. Cars with body kits no longer stand out to me in a world full of kitted cars. I prefer to see a nice "stock" car (and yes this is the direction I am heading in with my own car).

As far as the clear front bumper signals, you can A.) try to find them in a junk yard (they were clear on the '95-'99 Sunfire GTs) or you can B.) buy them brand new from a Pontiac dealer.

As far as getting them from a junk yard, they may be a little hard to find. If you do manage to find them, chances are they will be yellowed and dingy.

As far as buying them from the dealer, I paid $75 for the brand new pair. A little pricey, but well worth it since they're brand new. Also, keep in mind there are clear side markers out there as well. Again, just my .02 .
